into various products that we provide to society.


We are taking on the challenges posed by the global environmental and social issues facing the Company, and we are creating new value through five supporting initiatives while working to resolve these issues.


The Company also aims to enrich everyone’s happiness by continuously contributing to creating smiles today and tomorrow.

Materiality Identification Process

To identify materiality, we used the three steps listed below.
We did so mainly through workshops held by the Sustainability Planning Department,
which works together with each of the Company’s departments, as well as through a review of documentation and interviews with outside experts.
We considered a wide range of perspectives, including analysis of stakeholder interests and impacts on the Company.

Identify 20 issues and analyze risks and opportunities of each as well as examples of their impact

Analysis of stakeholder interests and impacts on the Company

Analyze stakeholder interests as well as positive and negative impacts generated by the Company
and their impacts on operations and performance.

Identification of materiality

Prioritize topics that the Group should focus on and identify materiality issues,
taking into account the results of steps 1 and 2.
